Day 338 - What I Want

A list of things I really, really want to eat right now:

A donut
A cupcake
A slice of NY-style pizza
A cheeseburger
Doritos or some equally addictive chip

OK, now that I've got that off my chest, I am going to go work on dinner.

Day 337 - Food For Thought

I've been cooking...well, I still am but these items are from some time ago, but I was finally not lazy and plugged my camera in.

^Tuna trying to be like what my family had in Florida over Christmas and wasabi mashed potatoes. Made this for New Year's Eve dinner with the Brit. He freaking loved it because he loves tuna. I cooked mine a little longer because I wasn't sure how good the tuna was since I normally don't buy it. The wasabi potatoes were a nice twist, but it's hard to beat good old-fashioned mashed potatoes made like mom.

^Mom's potato salad for The Golden Globes! I've been wanting to make it and did a pretty good job. The Brit thought there was a bit too much celery but what does he know? Note: if you live alone don't use as many potatoes as your mom did for a family of five. You will be eating it all week long and then some, which is delicious so who cares!

That's all the food pics. But I have one more special one for fun...

^Barbar likes to pretend he is a homeless bag cat sometimes. He's picked up odd habits since we've been living on our own for the last year. Oh well, at least it's adorable.

Night!

Day 336 - Sneezy

Today I have the sniffles.

It's so incredibly annoying. But it is a good excuse to put my laptop to sleep after this post, zone out on TV and go to bed very early.

I hope to wake up tomorrow sniffle-free!

Wish me luck.

Day 335 - It's 2012!

I know, bad blogger.

But I just wanted to say I'm here. And planning on writing some more.

Christmas in Florida was fabulous.

^ See? Fabulous.

New Year's Eve was also fabulous. The Brit and I cooked dinner at my place and then went to a little bar across the street close to midnight. We danced like dancing fools. I'm pretty sure it was pretty embarrassing.

So far, things are good this year. I'm trying to get things back in order so I can start working on some new stuff. Time to get my mess together!

Oh! Legal Eagle is engaged! And I'm the maid of honor. Uh oh! She seems very excited and won't make me wear something ugly. Yay!

OK, I need to go do dishes...I shall be back more often though.
