Day 326 - Oh, Hello

Just checking in like the lazy person I am.

All is well in the land of Hollywood.

Barbar is out of control since he turned 4 this weekend. Thinks he should be allowed out whenever he wants. Such a teenager!

Legal Eagle is coming up this Sunday. We are going to try to see a movie so that will be lots of fun. Haven't seen her since her graduation extravaganza...whoa, that was a long time ago.

Middle sister's birthday trip is coming up so soon! Time is flying by! I'm so excited for it.

The Brit and I are doing well. I think he's stressed about money for various reasons, but I hope it gets easier. He does have a very exciting possible project coming up which would be so great for him.

Work is OK. I'm going to possibly start taking on some more new stuff and try some different things with the site I work for. Could be good to change it up and hopefully it helps. We'll see.

All in all, I'm doing well. I have to get my wisdom teeth out though because I notice them growing in more. Sucky.

Day 296 - A Fabulous Birthday Celebration

Last night the Brit and I celebrated his birthday and it was great.

First, we went to Geisha House for dinner. He was so excited when I told the parking lot attendant where we were going so we could park. Up until we got there, I kept the dinner locale secret. The Brit apparently loves sushi, phew.

I had read reviews and some people said it was too dark and too loud, but it was actually very nice. It was red lighting but also normal lighting so it wasn't too much. It wasn't loud at all, but we got there early, which I think is the way to go.

We got drinks that were delish! Seriously, I love lychee cocktails.

We also got some edamame and a couple rolls. Everything was really good. The two rolls were really different and he let me pick them both since I had read reviews of what was good.

The only problem there was the service was slow. This would not be a problem except we were on a time crunch. Also, the prices may have been higher than how good the sushi was, but it's very Hollywood, so you expect it.

We made it out on time and walked over to Santaland Diaries!

It was really good, again.

At first I was worried because the actor wasn't as good as the Chicago guy in the beginning, but once he got to the elf stuff and some of the more animated stuff, it was really great. The Brit really enjoyed it. Plus, the lady next to me fell asleep and then woke herself up with her snoring.

After that we decided to grab dessert and wine at Trader Joe's and watch a movie or TV. We then discovered that we both used to get chocolate oranges in our Christmas stockings so that was dessert for the night.

All in all, it was such a nice night. The Brit had a great time and said lots of sweet things about how sweet I am. I know. And now he has a sushi place that he wants to take me to when we're both back in town from Christmas. Plus he was really happy that the whole night was a surprise. He loves surprises which is a relief since I didn't really ask if he did. He just seemed really happy and that was the goal!

Also, I got to wear my $5 awesome H&M dress with black tights and heels and I looked so great! And the Brit was dressed up to which is always fun. He looked sharp and was a total gentleman.

Now I have to pack to move and pack for Christmas in Austin. So much to do. And all I want to do is sleep. Yikes.

Day 200 - Whoa, I Need A Life!

I've written 200 of these little things?! Holy Moly!

So, I guess that means an update on whatever this blog is supposed to be about. Oh right, making my life like a TV show. What a weirdo.

1. Apartment: Still love my apartment and I actually put up a curtain on my closet that I've been meaning to do since sometime last summer. Oops. And I think I've found sheets for my bed, finally! Oh, but a baby moved in next door and its room is next to mine. It cries and it's unfair that I should have to deal with this.

2. Hair and Makeup: I'm so freaking weird. Well, I got my haircut and found a hair place that I love. Makeup is good. This is such a weird goal. Maybe that means I'm growing up??

3. Clothes: Love all my clothes and happy with all recent purchases. Still need to find skinny jeans. (Old Navy still does not have the right size online in stock for me. :( )

4. Job: Am I doing my dream job? No. Am I working? Yes. I really need to be writing and pitching what I want to do. I fell behind at one point and am now about to get back on track. Wish me luck!

5. Money: I'm actually OK on money. I was even able to buy a new laptop (Melvin), thanks to a tax refund. I'm getting there and swear I am trying to be smart about my funds. Trying...

6. Organization: Uh, do we have to talk about this? I've kind of forgotten about it. Maybe I should focus on this. I have been thinking a lot about getting my portfolio together. Thinking is just thinking though.

7. Zany Situations: I think Legal Eagle and I will be going on a Hollywood tour after I go back to Chicago. I owe her because I lost a bet. This will be zany. I'm excited!

8. Boys: Well, at least there is a boy in the picture. And Neighbor is calling me tonight. About time!

9. A "Hang-Out" Place: I do have my little Cafe Audrey and some other places I adore. This doesn't feel too, too important, but I am enjoying when I go out. That's good!

All in all, I'm in a good place right now. Just need to get a little bit back on track with work.

Day 193 - St. Patrick's Day 2010

Yay! St. Patrick's Day tomorrow!!

I'm excited because I'm Irish and I quite like the color green. Oh, and beer.

Tomorrow Legal Eagle and I will be celebrating it in Orange County. I'm half-excited, half-not. Let's Pro/Con it:

PRO: I'll be out on St. Patrick's Day!

CON: I'll be in Orange County.

PRO: I'll be out with a bunch of different people.

CON: Did I mention I'll be in Orange County?

PRO: Everyone else is taking care of the details of where we are going, so I just have to show up.

CON: I will have to spend the night in Orange County, which means I won't be back in Hollywood until Thursday.

PRO: Beer! Green beer!

CON: Green beer looks like NyQuil.

PRO: I can tell everyone I'm Irish.

CON: I forgot, did I mention I'll be in Orange County?

I guess I just don't want to have to be in Orange County and then trying to get back to Hollywood at a normal time (read: as early as possible). Right now, it feels like I'll be losing my Wednesday and Thursday.

I hate leaving Hollywood.

Day 192 - Life Update

I have tons of work to do this week and other stuff going on, but I want to take some time to catch up because lots has been going on. I've missed you, blog.

Middle sister came to visit last week. It was nice to have family out here. Mostly we wandered around Hollywood, ate, drank and caught up on randomness. The weather was perfect. All in all, a good time and many silly laughs.

Work has been work. I need to catch up on some stuff so I can start spending more time on things that I want to write.

And on to Neighbor stuff...really my life is pretty much the same other than these developments.

Yes, he did make a move. And yes, he responded to my email invite to a comedy show on Saturday night. He told me he might have to do some work on this movie trailer depending on how some meeting went. He ended up having to work, but we met up after the comedy show.

Things are fun with him. It's hard recapping every night we hang out, so I'm just going to type out random things and convos from the last two Saturdays.

-------------------------------------------------------

Neighbor rented Harold & Maude last Saturday. Very thoughtful as I had told him about it the previous weekend.

-------------------------------------------------------

Remember how I said I hate when people ask me what it is exactly I want to do? Well, he asked me again, but this time with the kind of response I want.

Neighbor: So, what kind of stuff do you want to do, sort of long-term?

Me: (heavy sigh) Well, it's hard to explain. I know what I want to do, but I don't know how I'd classify it. Not hard journalism, but not this entertainment stuff.

Neighbor: I understand. It's kind of like someone asking me what I want to do. (Note: I've asked this before.)

-------------------------------------------------------

So, after he made a move I felt the need to clarify with him that I wasn't just going to be some neighbor he could randomly see and make out with. Then this Saturday I felt the need to mention this again as he had not asked me on a date. Here's how that went:

Me: I know we already talked about this, but I'm not some hook up or just hang out whenever girl.

Neighbor: I know, I understand. And I'm not that kind of guy.

Me: OK, well, (long pause) I just really want you to ask me on a date.

Neighbor: What? Oh, yeah?

Me: Yeah. Just hanging out at night at your place is fun and all, but I'd like to hang out outside your apartment.

Neighbor: I guess the last people I've dated we didn't really do the asking out thing.

Me: Well, I'd like to. I've been waiting all week.

Neighbor: Maybe I was just waiting to ask.

Me: How long were you going to wait??

Neighbor: OK, we'll go on a date. Done.

-------------------------------------------------------

Then before I left, he thought out loud about our future date (No, he hasn't asked me, yet. What's with that??), but here is what he said. Note: I think he was really tired because it's pretty random.

Neighbor: We'll do something French. I'll take you to the aquarium or an art museum. Yeah, we'll go to a gallery show. Or we'll go to the Bat Caves (a thing in our neighborhood where the original Batman cave was shot). No, that's not very date-y.

Me: What?

Neighbor: It'll be something good.

Note: I don't think there is an aquarium in L.A., just in Long Beach.

-------------------------------------------------------

At some point we ate Cracker Jacks:

Me: Oooh, the prize! Don't look. Do you have a pencil? (The prize was this piece of paper with part of a pencil drawn on it and two people climbing up it, making it look like they were climbing your pencil.)

Neighbor: Will a pen work?

Me: Uh, sure, but it won't be nearly as good....OK, check it out!

Neighbor: Ahh, if I were 8 again I would totally think this rocked. Although, the color of the pencil is kind of off.

Me: Yeah, let's open the other box and see what the prize is! (There were two boxes)

Neighbor: Why don't we wait to see if we eat all of these first?

Note: We ate them all and then got to the second box. The prize was a picture of Alexander Hamilton from a young guy to an old guy. Neighbor made me guess who it was; I never got it right.

-------------------------------------------------------

He showed me the movie trailer he's working on:

Me: So, what did you do with it? What part of it?

Neighbor: What do you mean?

Me: Well, like, you know...what stuff...well...I don't really understand what it is you do.

He explained what he did and apparently he created the whole movie trailer. He watched the movie and made a trailer. So weird. But it was awesome. It was like a real trailer!

-------------------------------------------------------

We have a lot of fun together, and I'm way comfortable with him. Things are moving forward which I'm happy about. He did touch on the "neighbor" thing, but we didn't really get into the good and bad about it. I think it might be something we should talk about at some point, but I don't know.

Also, while I'll keep his name private on here, I think it's time I start referring to him by name when I talk to others. Seriously.

I'll write some more later, but I really do have to continue doing some work. My life is totally thrilling.

Day 187 - Happy 1 Year Anniversary, Hollywood!

Legal Eagle and I have officially lived in Hollywood for one year! Tonight we will have pizza and champagne (as we do with our "1 Year in California" anniversary).

So, what has one year in Hollywood brought me?

- A place I love being in every single day

- Finally feeling safe walking outside again

- Some work, some struggles

- Celebrity sightings

- Many trips to Pink's!

- And a whole lot of other good and crazy stuff, but I don't really feel like writing...although I did 5 minutes ago.

Oh well, here's to being in Hollywood!

Oh, and I am possibly hanging out with Neighbor tomorrow night. More on all that later.

Day 103 - Oh Orange County!

Now that Legal Eagle and I live in the Hollywood Hills I feel like a bit of a snob when it comes to Orange County (usually for her to work at her boss's and train people).

We're always yelling about how annoying Orange County people are and how ugly the area is (mostly calling it Stepford-y). And this week, we are in for a full-on Orange County attack.

First, we are at her boss's today. Ugh. So LE treated me to Starbuck's as I had to be up by 5 a.m. today. We got there and ordered and sat to eat and drink and kill some time. Then, a very done up OC lady asked us if we were from the area. "No." And then asked where we were from. "Hollywood" (said smuggly). She was going to give us a coupon for a boot camp class she is in (and the girls who run it were with her). There are many problems with this:

- I don't work out in the morning. I hate it and when I do I am an angry, angry girl.

- All three woman had on more than full faces of makeup and hair down. I don't work out like this and am grossed out by women who do.

- Why are you at Starbuck's drinking iced coffees if you are in bootcamp? No trainer would think that is a good idea.

- None of them were in shape.

- They also said (to someone else) that they were a very social bootcamp.

- I do not socialize well in the a.m. and would probably kill someone if I went.

OK, but there are two parts of this that make this story even better. A guy (youngish and in shape) came in and they attacked him like vultures. They were like, "Do you workout in the morning?" Lame! And he entertained them by chatting, but those silly girls are trained properly. He had a wedding ring. SIDE NOTE: Why am I always looking for wedding rings now? Am I getting to the age where men I could be interested in are marrying off? This is weird. BACK TO STORY: OK, so the women thought they had him and then he asked if they knew about some other place and they said no. This allowed him to say, "Oh, my wife goes there." Oh man, it was so smooth and they so didn't expect it. I almost couldn't help laughing and had to shove my head onto the couch we were sitting on. I was impressed by him.

Also, when we left I posed this question to LE:

"What does it say about me that when she began talking to us I thought it was going to be so she could tell us how great we looked?"

LE's response: laughter, "I thought she was going to sell us Mary Kay."

Oh, and we do look great today.

Onto more OC news. We are going to LE's boss's (the one we hang out with - not the one above) birthday party Friday night. Should be fun because we haven't gone out with her since the infamous Long Beach night. So, we'll hoof it out to OC and take her to a happy hour possibly (treated by the other boss from above) and then go out with her and a bunch of other people for the birthday.

But LE and I contemplating who will be there and who we will know. I am sure that the loser who didn't call her, B/B, will be there (although she isn't even interested in him and he is soooo not her type). She plans to pretend that she doesn't remember him. Haha! And we suspect Mr. "Kiss me" will be there (I'm hoping he is far enough removed from LE's boss's close group of friends that he wasn't included). We shall see, but this means that I must look good. Outfit is planned and ready to go.

So I guess I am getting my OC overload this week. I just want to go back home to Hollywood and never leave.

Day 100 - I'm 100 Today!

So I thought and I thought about what I would make my 100th blog be about. I really wanted it to be some huge announcement like, "I'm getting married," or, "I dyed my hair pink!" But alas it will not be, it will simply be an update on my WILAY goals. Enjoy. And eat a cupcake for my 100th birthday.

1. Apartment - Well, I live in Hollywood, so yay! I still have a lot of decorating that I want to do, but do not have the moola. But I live in a much better area and absolutely love our place. Score!

2. Hair and makeup - I can't believe I made one of my "change" requirements hair and makeup. That is making me die laughing right now. So, I love my bangs and take the time to fix them in the morning and not just clip them back. Also, I just got a bunch of makeup from a $1 sale and I love it. Makeup fun can begin. Will post pic of me with false eyelashes.

3. Clothes
- Ah, the shallowness continues. Haven't really been buying clothes, but I have been putting more thought into outfits and wearing things differently (no, not wearing shirts as pants). But I just put more effort into it and have some stuff I really love. Success.

4. Job - Ugh. Can we skip this one? The only good thing going on now is that I feel like writing again and am working on some random stuff to pitch. Also still looking for a job. Job, job, job (song in my head everyday).

5. Money - Oh hell, no money here. But I am going to write down all my debts and finances and expenses and I have a budget and I am going to find ways to make money. Suckville.

6. Organization - I really need to print out all my clips. I also need to go through all my papers and toss stuff. Maybe this weekend??

7. Zany situations - This is still going strong. Mostly because my cat is really weird. As is my roommate.

8. Boys - Still single here! Kind of hard to get a boyfriend when you can't afford to go out. But...I do have a new schoolgirl crush on the host at this cafe Birds near our place. Haven't had a crush in forever!

9. A "hang-out" place - OK, can't afford to hang somewhere all the time, but I love out little neighborhood bars/restaurants and think they will be very nice once money comes my way. Outlook positive.

Soooo...some things are going quite well, but the important ones like job and money are very stressful right now. Fingers crossed that they work out, especially since Mercury is out of the way (thanks mom!). Also, I need to start posting some online convos with my oldest sister. They are brillant.

Day 92 - A Personal Journey Or Just Someone Else's Journey

Saturday Legal Eagle and I went up our main street to hike and along the way back home, we were stopped by tourists who asked where the Hollywood stairs were. We told them where one was that we had found, but then complained amongst ourselves about how finding the stairs is a personal journey and they should be found, not asked about.

Yesterday LE and I were bored, so she looked up where the stairs were and found a map that would lead us to 6 of them (I believe there are 7). We decided to go on a hike and see the stairs. We also documented this and I was going to post all the pictures, but realized that posting a million pictures of us by stairs will get a little repetitive (even for someone as vain as me). So here are some highlights.

^LE enjoying set number 2 of the stairs.

^Me enjoying set number 6 of the stairs.

^It sure is a long way up!

While LE and I made a big old deal about this being a personal journey, we decided that it is more about taking someone else's personal journey that they have mapped out and walking in their shoes. So much more profound! Also, other than the original stairs we found, the rest just look like stairs leading to people's houses, so we would never have suspected because we don't trespass on other people's property.

It was a good time though of course! And it was a hell of a workout and climbing a million stairs is always harder than I think it will be.

Also, where we went hiking on Saturday was awesome and gets us sooo close to the Hollywood sign and has crazy views. I'll have to bring my camera next time and get pictures. Now I really can't wait for people to visit so I can show them how close they can see the sign.

Day 88 - The Obligatory Sister Blog

So my middle sister wrote a blog about creating a dating show for herself and what the challenges would be. I laughed soooo hard...and now I am going to copy it.

Here is what my challenges would be:

- Cutting onions without crying

- Spend the night alone with Barbar without flinging him out the window

- Who can play fetch the longest with Barbar

- Sit through a marathon of any of P Diddy's shows (If you can survive watching his shows, you can survive any of the shows I obsessively watch because they are way better)

- Who can manage to keep my fridge stocked with Blue Moon, Ketel One and white wine (Wow, is this what an alcoholic sounds like?)

- And in summer, who can keep my fridge stocked with popsicles, fudge bars, dreamsicles, Klondike bars (Wow, is this what an ice cream-holic sounds like?)

- Who can kill the most bugs without making a mess of it or breaking anything

Also:
my oldest sister sent me an especially awesome Easter card that I have been meaning to post.

^It's Pat the Bunny...I loved this book!

^And she topped it off by saying I am a bunny who was adopted from a bunny octo-mom. She goes on and then writes that this is all just getting weird. It was the perfect message!

I think you know you are related to people when you have the exact same sense of humor like my sisters and I do (and my parents). You also know when you all watch the same bad TV (my parents watch Rock of Love...pretty sure they are the only parents who do).

^It was 100 degrees in Hollywood yesterday, so the cats chilled on the bathroom floor. Poor babes!

Day 81 - Apartment Cuteness!

I cleaned some of our apartment last night and decided to take pictures of areas that are unpacked.

^I love our cute kitchen! While smaller than our old one, I definitely love it more and take better care of it.

^Bathrooms are hard to get good pics of. But we love our bright colors and the silver hanging shelf. There isn't much stuff on it, but that makes me think of magazines where everything on the shelf is useless. Adorable!

^My makeup/jewelry area. Legal Eagle gave me one of her bookcases to use and I am so happy to have it.

^My bed. I want to get nice yellow curtains for the window sometime.

^My WONDERFUL closet! We took the doors off and stuck them under our beds. I have curtains picked out for my closet - sheer, light blue ones and then layered in front of them these black and white chandelier print ones - both from Target of course!

^This was LE's box of books that she was leaving for the movers to move when we thought we'd hire movers. I didn't notice it until we decided that we would move ourselves. I laughed about this for 2 weeks straight.

More apartment pictures to come when we finish cleaning! Thanks to both families for giftcards so that we can have our cute, little, wonderful place!

Day 77 cont. - Jealous?

^ That's the Hollywood sign and I live near it. Also, there has not been a single time when I've gone to the market up the hill and not seen someone taking a picture of themselves with the sign in the background.

Day 77 - Pet Name Kind Of Girl?

OK, I had a bunch of other things I was going to blog about today, but then this little thing came up yesterday afternoon. Here is how it went down:

Me: Oh god, (Legal Eagle's real name) come here. I have the weirdest text.

LE: Did you say funniest or weirdest?

Me: Weirdest, look.

And this is what I showed her:

^ Pretty blurry, but it says: Hey darling today we are going to moon shadows i want to invited you. Text from Martin (names are not being protected)

OK, backstory time!

The day we had our moving truck in Hollywood, we were unloading and a neighbor came home around the same time with his friend (Martin). At least this is what I think the situation is, maybe he lives there and the other was visiting?

So, Martin offered to help us at the end with one of our beds. He talked about how he had a screenplay or something after I mentioned I was a writer. We exchanged info, blah blah.

Now, I don't really believe in "gaydar," but I assumed Martin was gay. Here are the reasons:

1. He was only like 5'8" and a little guy. Oh, maybe that's just why he's not my type.
2. He has an accent. Doesn't mean he's gay, just whatever...
3. He seemed to be coming home with another guy.
4. Both men were dressed a little Hollywood flashy. Maybe that's just guys in Hollywood? Hope not.
5. Did I mention he seemed to be coming home with another guy?

OK, so that's really all my reasoning for thinking he is gay.

So, then he Facebook'd me. Whatever. But then when we were coming to stay at our new place one of the first nights, he found us! He asked if we wanted to go out that night. We were probably gross from not showering and moving all day, we said no.

That was the last I heard from him.

Until the text!

Now, let me tell you the problems with this text.

First, grammar. I can't do poor grammar. I already correct people over little things. And I get English isn't his first language, but I'll feel compelled to correct and that will be flat-out exhausting.

Second, darling? Let's begin the pet name discussion.

Here is a convo between LE and me:

Me: Maybe he just sent the text to a bunch of people.

LE: Darling? Yeah, I don't think he sent that to everyone.

Me: What is it with me getting guys who like to give me a pet name right away?

LE: Ew, maybe it's a Los Angeles guy thing?

Me: Hope not.

LE: We'll find you someone normal.

Maybe, after I've been dating someone for about 7 or so years, it might be OK to give me a "pet name," just not something lame or overly cutesy. Plus, I think if you're going to do that, you have to know the person to see what fits. I'm not a "darling" or "sweetie" (unless my mom calls me that as she does sometimes, but that fits).

Convo continued:

Me: Maybe it's a European/foreign thing?

LE: No, I've known Europeans/foreigners enough to know it's not.

So then I got to thinking last night. Do I come off as a girl who will swoon over being given a pet name? Is that what these guys think will win me over?

So now, on the top of my checklist for what I am looking for in a guy we have:

1. Does not give me a pet name right away.

It's becoming a very important part of my checklist. #2 is that he can cut onions. I can't.

Monday, March 9, 2009

Day 72 - Treasures

This weekend Legal Eagle and I spent most of our time unpacking and getting the apartment to look super cute. And it is definitely on its way.

And while I will tell more of this in a bit, first I must tell the story of the treasures box.

I was sitting in LE's room while she cleaned. She has a few boxes labeled different things like stationary, cards and then there is one marked treasures.

So LE had to put some more "treasures" in this box while I was there. It includes some stuff like foreign coins, guitar picks, but then that day she came upon a problem:

LE: (picks up a teeny tiny Christmas sweater hanging on a hanger) I mean, what do I do with this?

Me: (long pause) Do you really want me to tell you what most people would do with it?

LE: (long pause and smile) No.

Me: What's it from anyway?

LE: It was on a gift.

Me: Most people would throw it out.

LE: (looking around her room, says almost wistfully) Treasures (as she places it in the Treasures box).

Me: (laughing like a maniac and picking up the sweater to look at it and seeing the "2008" stitching on back).

LE: See, it's new. I can't get rid of it.

I'm glad LE doesn't mind me always writing about our conversations, well, if she does, she lets me do it anyway.

Sooooooooooo....

We have moved to the Hollywood Hills! Finally. It was exhausting, but we aren't of our old apt. and not a moment too soon.

Everything is great at our new place. I saw my first coyote the other night, it was kind of cute and kind of creepy.

We have so many plans for how we want to decorate our place and rooms, but I think it will take a little while. My room is finally coming together even though I have a huge pile of laundry to do today or tomorrow.

OK, I'm done with this for today. I may post a little pic of the sweater later. Perhaps...

Day 70 - So Are You Together Or Not?

Today I had an amazing conversation with my sister.

Me: Is fairytale one word or two?

Oldest sister: One.

Me: I hate hyphenated words.

Oldest sister: Yeah, they're like they can't decide if they want to be one word or two.

Me: Yeah, it's like are you together or not?

Oldest sister: Yeah!

Me: I should blog about this.

Legal Eagle and I are moving to Hollywood very very shortly! This is good for my WILAY goals that I haven't been paying much attention to. (Speaking of which, LE and I are watching it now and it's sooo good!)

Oh, I forgot, our new place has a coffee shop up the hill, could this possibly be our "hang-out place"?

Ah...I'm exhausted...not really, but LE and I made pina coladas, so I'm going to do nothing and drink mine.

Day 67 - I'll Take That As A Sign

Double murder in my sweet little neighborhood the other day.

Legal Eagle and I are now moving…to Hollywood!

We found the place in a roundabout way-ish — kind of how Holly and Val found their place on WILAY. Coincidence? Probably.

Things I will miss in this miserable city:

1. Scurve (how can I help him before leaving?)

2. Shirtless bus guy who drinks “coffee”

3. Belly girl (we either saw her twin the other day or she got a haircut)

4. Venus

5. The Lounge

6. Park Ave.

7. Jorge Chavez (Senor Chavez)

8. Georgie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9. The Gossip Girls down the way who have always looked after us

10. Our big bathroom

11. The teeny tiny library where we went everyday until we had internet

12. Starbucks across the street

13. Stupid Bella Terra mall

Ahh…so happy to be moving. Now if only we could figure out how to move all our stuff. Too bad the cats aren’t stronger.
